Welcome to the official website of Krishnanagar Centre for Social Studies and Research (KCSSR). If you are interested to help mankind in some way then you can join us in this noble work. We are a registered NGO working towards making significant impacts in the lives and livelihood of needy people of all classes and segments.

KCSSR is considered to be a non-profitable non-Government Organization based at Krishnanagar, Nadia, West Bengal. We have been relentlessly working for improving the lives of Socio-Economically distressed and downtrodden people. We offer our helping hands to all types of needy people ranging from aged individuals, children, adolescents, and mothers as well as other people from poor and marginalized segment, vulnerable community. The areas that we basically focus on are Sunderban, North 24 Pgs, Hooghly, Murshidabad, Birbhum and Nadia. Among these places, Nadia and Mushidabad districts happen to have different kinds of socially and economically backward classes of people. KCSSR is there to work in the different fields like Education, Health, Training of Women, Sports and well as various other socio-economical activities of the backward classes.

WE MAINLY WORKING ON

Health and Hygiene

Krishnanagar Centre for Social Studies and Research (KCSSR) is there to work for improving the issues of health and hygiene of poor and marginalized people of the backward classes. We are there to identify root causes and challenges of healthcare and then work at the basic level to send our help to each individual out there.

Education & Skills Development

We emphasize on sending the children of economically downtrodden families to school and give them proper education. We also focus on offering them quality education and required skills so that they can stand on their feet someday and take care of their families. KCSSR educates the distressed girls and women from the backward classes. Moreover, creating better education provision for these less fortunate children and girls are also our responsibilities.

Folk Art and culture

Fold Culture is an important tradition of our country but it is on the verge of death due to different reasons. We are doing our level best to find out the prime issues behind this and doing the needful to revive this great culture of ours in the best way possible. There are so many folk artists that are suffering from poverty and other issues. We are helping them. KCSSR is there to bring back the history and tradition of this amazing art and culture on the track.

Women And Child Empowerment

We have been tirelessly working for improving the lives and conditions of women and children together. Women and child empowerment happen to be one of our main agendas out there. In regard to women, we are there to oppose dowry system, early marriage and other issues of theirs. On the other hand, we are to send all the children of downtrodden families to school to help them have the quality education. We also take care of children by providing them food, shelters and garments if and when needed.

agriculture & Social Welfare

Agriculture and social welfare are known to be another segment of our work. We are there to contact the needy farmers and provide them with necessary helps and assistance like corps, manure or money if and when needed. We are also involved in other social welfare. In this regard, we are there to work with the street beggars and vagabonds and provide them with food and shelter. We even distribute garments and clothes to the needy people out there.

Sports and Fitness

We emphasize on the sports and fitness of children, adult and women. We are there to organize different kinds of sports, games and social events for the people of backward classes. Arranging different Yoga campaigns, football and cricket matches are some of the examples of our programs on sports and fitness.

We Have Been Serving The People In Need For The Past 8 Years And Beyond. We Feel Proud And Happy To Have Their Trust And Blessings With Us In Our Journey.
